This is a Remixx World! follow-up to a story "Skateboarding in Afghanistan (Skateistan)!" first covered on this blog back on January 26, 2009 about a visionary bringing skateboarding to the children of Afghanistan.
CNN has now reported on the story (see video above) and it appears that the children will be getting a skate park to call their own. In light of all the negative news out there, it is a pleasure to hear a good story once in a while.
