The moment that we have been waiting for...NOT! Nevertheless, the first H1N1 "swine flu" vaccines will be available in Delaware on October 5, 2009, if not sooner. It is quite fitting that Delaware is the first State where I have heard an actual date set for the vaccine's arrival, because Delaware was also the very first State in the United States of America.

Federal health officials on Friday said they will deliver the first batches of an effective vaccine against H1N1 swine flu within 10 days, the start of an unprecedented race to vaccinate much of the nation as the disease has begun to spread quickly.
