University of California Campuses Erupt Into Protest (Students Against Budget Cuts)

California is in a huge crisis. There is no way that it will be able to raise these fees without a huge student revolt at the UC system. However, California does not have the money to maintain its budgetary commitments at the current levels, so something has to be done eventually. Nevertheless, this is going to remain heated and perhaps even get worse before it gets better.
