As of 6:38 PDT, the FDIC has closed seven (7) banks -- Partners Bank, in Naples, Florida; American United Bank in Lawrenceville, Georgia; Hillcrest Bank Florida in Naples, Florida; Flagship National Bank in Bradenton, Florida; Bank of Elmwood in Racine, Wisconsin; Riverview Community Bank in Otsego, Minnesota; and First DuPage Bank in Westmont, Illinois.

Partners Bank will cost $28.6 million against the FDIC insurance fund. American United Bank will cost $44 million against the FDIC insurance fund. Hillcrest Bank Florida will cost $45 million against the insurance fund. Flagship National Bank will cost $59 million against the insurance fund. Bank of Elmwood will cost $101.1 million against the insurance fund. Riverview Community Bank will cost $20 million against the insurance fund. First DuPage Bank will cost $59 million against the insurance fund.

The total amount charged against the FDIC insurance fund today is $356.7 million (at this point)! Plus, Partners Bank has the distinction of being the 100th bank to close in the United States this year. At this point, 106 banks have closed this year.
