California Layoff Database for Employees Under Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Law

This database from The San Jose Mercury News contains the companies on the California Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) law list. California's WARN law requires certain companies with more than seventy-five (75) employees to provide sixty (60) days advance notice of a plant closing or mass layoff involving fifty (50) or more employees.

***NOTE: The Dorsey and Whitney LLP listing is a transcription error and should not have been included in the database.

Above the Law talked to a Dorsey & Whitney spokesperson. The error isn’t the fault of the San Jose Mercury News:

This is for a client and appears to be a transcription error by whomever entered the info into the database. We are NOT closing our SoCal office.
