South Korea To Train 3,000 Cyber Sheriffs to Fight Cyberterrorism!

It will only be a matter of time before we see some "cyber sheriffs" here in the United States of America. Apparently, South Korea is concerned due to the attacks that hit the country in July, so it is training thousands of law enforcement agents to fight this cyberterrorism.

The article says that South Korea never discovered who conducted the July cyberattacks. I thought the attacks were tracked to a British master computer in the United Kingdom.

South Korea said Sunday it will train 3,000 "cyber sheriffs" by next year to fight cyberterrorism, about two months after the nation's major government agencies, banks and Internet sites were hit by massive cyber attacks of unknown origin.

The plan was made public after a government-wide meeting Friday to bolster the nation's cyber defenses, government officials said.
