As of 8:45 pm PST, the FDIC has closed three (3) banks -- Century Bank F.S.B. in Sarasota, Florida; Orion Bank in Naples, Florida; and Pacific Coast National Bank in San Clemente, California.

Century Bank will cost $344 million against the FDIC insurance fund. Orion Bank will cost $615 million against the FDIC insurance fund. Pacific Coast National Bank will cost $27.4 million against the insurance fund.

The total amount charged against the FDIC insurance fund today is $986,400,000 (or $986.4 million). At this point, 123 banks have closed this year.
