This one is for any reader who doesn't believe in weather modification. It is now confirmed in the State of Texas. You can check out the above videos, the embedded quote from a local Austin, Texas news station (KXAN), an official Texas State web page and/or previous articles that Remixx World! has posted about the subject. I wonder if the cloud seeding a/k/a weather modification in one part of the State had any effect on the record droughts that were suffered in other parts of Texas this summer.

The meteorologist who leads the state’s cloud seeding program says the technique is increasing annual rainfall in parts of West and South Texas.

“South of San Antonio, we had aircraft flying on a dozen days in the month of July treating what we deemed to be seedable storms,” said George Bomar, the manager of the Weather Modification Program for Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation Department.

Weather Modification - Currently, cloud-seeding projects designed to increase rainfall from convective cloud towers are conducted in nearly 31 million acres of Texas (or almost one-fifth of the state’s land area). In administering the Texas Weather Modification Act (enacted by the Texas Legislature in 1967), TDLR’s weather modification program issues licenses and permits for these projects, many of which have been in existence since 2000. The projects use specialized aircraft and sophisticated weather radar systems, operated by skilled meteorologists, at sites near Amarillo, Plains, Pecos, San Angelo, and Pleasanton. In addition, TDLR issues licenses and permits to other organizations, as well as individuals, responsible for carrying out weather modification operations for both rainfall enhancement and hail suppression. The aim of the regulatory function is to ensure that various methods of modifying the weather do not dissipate clouds nor inhibit their ability to produce rainfall to the detriment of people or property in the affected areas.

The program also sponsors and provides administrative and technical oversight for ongoing weather modification research and development activities. This includes the use of federal grants for exploratory, and confirmatory, cloud seeding experiments. TDLR issues reports on the results of cloud seeding research work and shares information on technological advances with other State agencies, governmental organizations, and interested individuals.

The TDLR staff also works with political subdivisions, other organizations, and individuals in the design, or modification, of rain enhancement projects as well as the implementation of new seeding strategies for augmenting rainfall over targeted watersheds.

Cold Weather Kills Nearly 10,000 Cattle in Vietnam

Birds are falling out of the sky. Fish are washing up on shore. And now cattle are dying by the thousands in Vietnam due to cold weather.

The Veterinary Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) announced about huge losses in cattle caused by the long cold spell in recent days.

The department stated the costly deaths occurred despite the best efforts of local authorities and people to save their livestock.

Following statistics at 4pm on January 16, total of 9,248 heads of cattle died in provinces including Lang Son, Yen Bai, Cao Bang, Bac Can, Ha Giang, Tuyen Quang, Son La, Quang Ninh, Hoa Binh, Lao Cai, Bac Giang, Lai Chau, Ha Tinh and Quang Binh.

Russian Scholar Warns that U.S. HAARP Device May Have Caused Russian Heatwave & Fires

A few years ago I would have dismissed this case as complete propaganda nonsense. However, the more information I learn about HAARP, the more I believe that anything is possible. Therefore, this story is not surprising. A Russian scholar blames HAARP for Russia's recent climate tragedies.

As Muscovites suffer record high temperatures this summer, a Russian political scientist has claimed the United States may be using climate-change weapons to alter the temperatures and crop yields of Russia and other Central Asian countries.

Unverified Reports That It Is Raining Oil in Florida

I cannot confirm this story, so take it for what it is -- an unverified report from someone named Eve. Nevertheless, if there are further independent reports of oil rains in Florida, then we will know that we have an even more serious problem on our hands than the catastrophe we currently have.

Making this quick, don't feel well. About 4:15pm or so eastern, coming back from Tampa, Florida north on Veteran's Expressway...about 7 miles perhaps from SR 54...it sprinkled some gray watery and solid black oil on my car. Thought it was bugs, but so fast did not make sense and windshield wipers just smeared it. Got out of car at store and looked on the paint and solid black dots on my car...I touch? huh? it's wet? it's OIL!!!!!

I had several folks verify it before I sprayed it off and it came off easier than the few love bugs. Two hours later still wet like OIL! nope, not water, smell it, OIL!!!

The above picture is not from Florida. However, the only other place in the solar system where I could find an example of an oil rainstorm was on the Saturn moon of Titan.

Oregon Farmers Experience Significant Crop Losses After Storm (One Farmer Reports a 'Total Loss' of Wheat Crop)

More scary news relating to the Nation's food. This time the story originates in the Klamath Basin of Oregon where its fields and roadways recently experienced large dust clouds caused by 60 mph winds and shifting topsoil. One farmer reported a total loss of his wheat crop.

That was case with Steve Kandra, a local farmer.

Weather Officials Will Bomb Clouds with Silver Iodide to Create Rain in Yunnan, Guizhou, Guangxi, Chongqing & Sichuan China

This article is dedicated to anyone who doesn't believe that weather modification is real. Check the below link, because China is about to make it rain like a Fat Joe & Lil Wayne video with this upcoming exercise.

In an effort to create rain, the China Meteorological Administration (CMA) said that weather bureaus in the affected regions are ready to "bomb clouds" with 2,116 doses of silver iodide, a compound used in cloud seeding, for which 2 million yuan ($294,000) has been allocated.

I wonder if Vegas is giving odds on the exercise's success. China has tried this type of thing in the past, and ended up blanketing Beijing with a lot of snow (see: China's Weather Modification Office Pilloried for Causing Heavy Snowfall in Beijing!).

Huge Fire Threatens Nature Reserve in Colombia

BOGOTA – The forest fire affecting an enormous mountainous area in the northeastern Colombian province of Boyaca since last week is now threatening the Iguaque nature reserve, emergency management officials said on Sunday.

More than 1,200 hectares (3,000 acres) of native forest have been destroyed by the fire, 800 of them in the Iguaque flora and fauna sanctuary, in the jurisdiction of the municipalities of Villa de Leyva and Chiquiza, some 180 kilometers (112 miles) northeast of Bogota.

About 500 people, including firefighters, soldiers, police, emergency management office and Red Cross personnel, volunteers and Indians are working on the task of putting out the flames, which in some spots are more than 10 meters (32.5 feet) high.

FLASHBACK: Did New Orleans Police Shoot & Kill Contractors on Danziger Bridge Trying to Blow Up Levees After Hurricane Katrina?

During the post-Hurricane Katrina period, I recall hearing a story where there was an alleged shoot-out between the New Orleans Police and "contractors" on the Danziger Bridge with the police killing several of the contractors. Later, when I researched the story trying to find the original account of the event, the story had been changed to one where people were shooting at the contractors and the police ended up killing those people - not the contractors.

It is quite possible that the initial story was incorrect, but this site focuses on the conspiracy theory, so there is no story here in accepting the official story - especially because there have been allegations that someone blew up the levees causing New Orleans to flood. Therefore, it is quite possible that these "contractors" were attempting to further sabotage the levees when the police served and protected the people by taking out these contractors.

1. Why would the initial story report that the contractors had been shot and killed?

3. What was this initial report based upon?

4. When the initial story was retracted, was a reason given for the retraction?

5. If the contractors were going to the bridge to fix it, then why would the police shoot and kill them?

Police Kill Five Contractors on La. Bridge

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Police shot eight people carrying guns on a New Orleans bridge Sunday, killing five or six, a deputy chief said. A spokesman for the Army Corps of Engineers said the victims were contractors on their way to repair a canal.

The contractors were walking across a bridge on their way to launch barges into Lake Pontchartrain to fix the 17th Street Canal, said John Hall, a spokesman for the Corps.

Earlier Sunday, New Orleans Deputy Police Chief W.J. Riley said police shot at eight people, killing five or six.

The shootings took place on the Danziger Bridge, which spans a canal connecting Lake Pontchartrain and the Mississippi River.

No other details were immediately available.

Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe Declares State of Emergency in Central South Dakota Due to Severe Ice Storms and Freezing Temperatures

Eagle Butte, SD (January 30, 2010) - The Cheyenne River Reservation located in the State of South Dakota, homeland of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe, is currently facing an emergency situation due to an ice storm that crippled the electrical and water infrastructure. Though the ice storm has passed, the water and power system remains challenged and several Reservation communities have been without power for over ten (10) days. Moreover, a bitterly cold weather system is expected to come in by Sunday evening.

Therefore, the Tribe continues to operate an Emergency Operations Center (EOC) to coordinate communications, relief efforts, and resource distribution. The phone numbers for the EOC have been changed to (605) 964-1313 and (605) 964-1314 and the location has moved to the Cheyenne River Sioux Cable Television office on Main St. in Eagle Butte, South Dakota.

Though some communities have a water supply, please be advised to boil all water before drinking. The Tribe has organized an emergency water distribution to the East End of the Reservation today. Tomorrow, an emergency water distribution will be coming into the West End communities. More information will be forthcoming regarding emergency water distribution to the communities outside of Eagle Butte over the next week. Any resulting sewage or pipe damage from the breakdown in the water system should be reported to the Emergency Operations Center.

Emergency shelters in Eagle Butte, Cherry Creek, La Plant, Swiftbird, Red Scaffold, Takini, Bear Creek, Timber Lake, and Whitehorse have been converted into Emergency Shelter/Distribution Centers. These Centers will distribute goods and supplies that are essential to surviving the winter and the impending cold front. A large amount of supplies will be delivered to these Centers tomorrow.

The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) has been opened up for business for all qualifying residents of the Reservation. Please call the office directly to address your energy needs.

As of Sunday, January 31, 2010, the (605) 964-7711 and (605) 964-7712 telephone numbers will revert to their regular use for the Indian Health Service Ambulance Service and will direct callers to the new phone number for the EOC. For all other emergencies such as medical or law enforcement emergencies, please call 911.

DISASTER DECLARED ON THE CHEYENNE RIVER SIOUX INDIAN RESERVATION IN SOUTH DAKOTA

Severe Ice Storms and Freezing Temperatures Have Knocked Down 3,000 Utility Poles - Tribal Residents Have Been without Electricity, Heat, and Running Water for Six Days The Chairman of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe has declared a state of emergency in central South Dakota, an Indian reservation approximately the size of Connecticut with nearly 15,000 Tribal members. The Tribe is still awaiting a Presidential disaster declaration. Days of ice storms and strong winds have downed over 3,000 utility poles across the reservation. Thousands of already impoverished tribal residents have been without electricity or heat for five days, with wind chill factors well below zero. Experts estimate it may be as long as a month before all areas have electricity restored. "Making matters much worse" said Tribal Chairman Joe Brings Plenty, "the loss of electricity has also knocked out the Reservation's aging water system. We have no running water on the entire Reservation, it is also affecting off Reservation communities such Faith, whose water is supplied from pipes running through the Reservation." The Tribe is working hard to bring families in out of the cold into shelters. The South Dakota National Guard, the State's Department of Public Safety as well as the Army Corps of Engineers have come to the reservation and supplied some emergency generators. The Tribe would especially like to thank Wal-Mart for providing emergency food and supplies, and the Navajo Nation for sending up a tribal utility crew to help with the downed electrical lines. However, much more assistance is still needed. No one facility can host a shelter large enough for all the Tribal residents; additional generators are needed to set up additional shelters. The Tribe's one and only grocery store has lost all its perishables, additional food is needed. And dialysis patients have had to be evacuated to Rapid City. As electricity is restored and immediate safety and survival needs are met, the Chairman worries perhaps the most about the long term effects of having lost their water system in this crisis. The water intake and distribution system has already been at capacity for decades. In addition to the severe health and safety issues the Tribe now faces, it remains one of the biggest impediments to economic development on the Cheyenne River Sioux Reservation. "For years we have had a complete ban on any new housing or business building because we don't have the water infrastructure to support it. This crisis has exacerbated an already impossible situation."

The Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe is coordinating an emergency water distribution system throughout the entire Cheyenne River Reservation on January 28, 2010. Each household is advised to bring their own sanitary water containers to the water distribution sites, and larger containers are recommended but not required. The following communities will have emergency water distribution according to the following schedule (approximate times):

Currently, there are water tanks available in Eagle Butte. Additional water tanks will be placed in the communities of Cherry Creek, La Plant and Isabel. The town of Dupree has secured water supply through the state and is water secure. Though the water system is expected to be restored by the evening of January 28th, the water is not suitable for drinking and should be boiled, according to the Tri-County Water Association/Mni Waste', which is local water supply system for the Reservation.

Belize National Emergency Management Organization Conducts "2012" Earthquake, Flood & Super Weather System Drill in Cayo District

If I keep talking about stuff like this super emergency drill in Belize that support the whole 2012 notion, then I might start believing it. The drill involves an earthquake followed by a dam breaking and then some type of weather system -- or as I would call it, "the worst day ever." However, a mere drill is not evidence of any imminent danger. As for the 2012 stuff, I am just paraphrasing the article.

Heard of the perfect storm? What about the perfect disaster? Well, if there is such a thing, the National Emergency Management Organization staged it today in the Cayo District. It’s the combination of an earthquake leading to a dam break leading to a massive flood – all coinciding with a weather system. Sounds kind of like the storyline for 2012, right? It’s not – NEMO says it is a maximum credible event – and they involved 3,500 people in the biggest disaster simulation ever playing out all across the Cayo District. We were there in the planning stage this morning.

This is the rescue of a woman drowning in the Macal River. It’s just a simulation – she’s not really drowning but it’s a small part of the biggest live simulation in NEMO’s history.

In a nutshell that is what we are trying to achieve.”

And the scenario is that simultaneous occurrence of a dam break and bad weather.

“Well basically we have a weather system building up some pressure in terms of flooding in the Cayo District and that will be complicated by an earthquake which should trigger the warning system to ensure that people react to the drills that have been set out in the plan and that has been practiced by the committee.”

Ireland Declares National Emergency Due to Arctic Freezing (Worst Weather in Fifty Years)

Once again, I ask Mr. Al Gore where the global warming is. I am quite sure the people in Ireland would much rather have a warm, brisk temperatures right now instead of the Arctic freeze they are currently facing. The Irish government has even declared a national emergency due to the freezing weather.

The Irish government has announced a state of emergency as the arctic weather continues unabated. The country has been on the receiving end of these treacherous weather conditions for the last 20 days.

It is the worst weather in almost fifty years and has paralyzed the country, shutting businesses, schools and government offices.

Farmer's Almanac Predicts America's Extreme Cold Weather in Winter 2010!

Considering how cold it has been across the Nation the last couple of weeks, I found it quite interesting that the 2010 Farmer's Almanac has accurately predicted this extreme cold period this Winter. Frigid 2010 Forecast: How Cold will the Winter Weather Be?

Old Man Winter doesn’t want to give up his frigid hold just yet, but his hold will mostly be in the middle of the country.

According to the 2010 Farmers’ Almanac, this winter will see more days of shivery conditions: a winter during which temperatures will average below normal for about three-quarters of the nation.

A large area of numbingly cold temperatures will predominate from roughly east of the Continental Divide to west of the Appalachians (see map). The coldest temperatures will be over the northern Great Lakes and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. But acting almost like the bread of a sandwich, to this swath of unseasonable cold will be two regions with temperatures that will average closer to normal—theWest Coast and the East Coast.

What about snow/rain/ice?

Near-normal amounts of precipitation are expected over the eastern third of the country, as well as over the Pacific Northwest and Northern Plains, while drier-than-normal conditions are forecast to occur over the Southwest and the Upper Midwest/Great Lakes.

Only the Central and Southern Plains are expected to receive above-average amounts of precipitation.

Blizzards?

While three-quarters of the country is predicted to see near- or below average precipitation this winter, that doesn’t mean there won’t be any winter storms! On the contrary, significant snowfalls are forecast for parts of every zone. For the Middle Atlantic and Northeast States, for instance, we are predicting a major snowfall in mid-February; possibly even blizzard conditions for New England (indeed, even shovelry is not dead).

Is the United States Headed for a Major Food and Crop Crisis in 2010? (Over 50% of Midwest Counties are Primary Disaster Areas)

I just drove south down Interstate 5 through central California and the appearance is stunning when compared to when I last drove this interstate highway back in 2003. Once fertile green fields have turned into brown patches that appear better suited for Interstate 40 heading due east to Needles. The picture above is one of the MANY protest signs saying "Congress Created Dust Bowl" that I saw posted on these now barren lands. Another sign I repeatedly saw was, "food grows where water flows."

This dispute will likely increase food costs in this country. This country's disaster zones will also affect overall food costs, because it is being reported that over 50% of the counties in the Midwest are considered primary disaster areas. No doubt, this will affect farming the Midwest region which will affect the national food supply. Is the country headed for a food crisis?

All someone needs to do to know the world is headed is for food crisis is to stop reading USDA’s crop reports predicting a record soybean and corn harvests and listen to what else the USDA saying.

Specifically, the USDA has declared half the counties in the Midwest to be primary disaster areas, including 274 counties in the last 30 days alone. These designations are based on the criteria of a minimum of 30 percent loss in the value of at least one crop in the county. The chart below shows counties declared primary disaster areas by the secretary of Agriculture and the president of the United States.

The same USDA that is predicting record harvests is also declaring disaster areas across half the Midwest because of catastrophic crop losses! To eliminate any doubt that this might be an innocent mistake, the USDA is even predicting record soybean harvests in the same states (Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Alabama) where it has declared virtually all counties to have experienced 30 percent production losses. It isn’t rocket scientist to realize something is horribly wrong.

DARPA Scientists Want to Control Lightning and Know the Science of All Atmospheric Electricity!

Those wild and crazy scientists at DARPA are always coming up with something right out of a comic book. DARPA first brought us the Internet two scores ago! DARPA has also proposed a lifelog program and extraterrestrial internet networks. In other words, DARPA comes up with the future technologies. It is now wants to know everything there is to know about lightning! We are definitely in the 21st century when the military is funding scientists to learn and experiment on lightning!

If you know a lot about lightning and atmospheric electricity, then DARPA wants to hear from you!

The project to provide lightning on tap is known as "Nimbus".

According to DARPA, Nimbus lightning-triggering equipment is in no way intended for differently-sane researchers to jumpstart enormous, powerful monsters assembled from assorted body parts and directed by brains recovered from criminal psychopaths. No, it's all about protecting property from lightning damage, or "advances in... science relating to lightning".

But then, DARPA claimed that packet-switched networking was all about military communications or something of that sort: whereas in fact it turned out to be predominantly a vehicle for global distribution of pornography. So it would be unwise to believe what they say this time around.

According to the full briefing report, the goals of the program are:

DARPA’s interest in lightning and atmospheric electricity centers on protection of personnel, assets, and ordnance from possible injury, damage, or disruption from lightning activity. The major thrust of the Nimbus program is to obtain a solid understanding of lightning and associated physical phenomena in order devise strategies to protect personnel, assets and ordnance. Specifically, the goals of Nimbus are to produce:

1.Experimentally validated, quantitative models of the natural lightning process, including initiation, propagation, and attachment. Questions include: what measurable quantities are important to understanding these processes? How can they be estimated from ground measurements?

2.Experimentally validated, quantitative models of the rocket-triggered lightning process, including initiation, propagation, and attachment, based on quantities that can be measured from the ground. This model should include predictions, based on relevant parameters (e.g., storm type, location, size, electric field strength, rocket speed, etc.), of the probability that lightning can be triggered using a rocket.

3.Experimentally validated, quantitative models of the triggering of transient luminous events (TLEs), lightning-induced electron precipitation, and related ionospheric phenomena, using rocket-triggered lightning.

4.Experimentally validated, quantitative models of any other process that is demonstrably fundamental to the understanding of physical phenomena associated with lightning. Examples of such phenomena might include: terrestrial gamma ray flashes (TGF), production of x-rays, sferics, compact intra-cloud discharges, tribocharging in clouds, etc.

5.Optimal strategies to reduce the probability of lightning strikes in a given area in the presence of a thunderstorm. Given an area (size: 1 square kilometer) in the presence of a thunderstorm, is it possible to reduce the probability of a cloud to ground lightning strike in that area? How might lightning initiation be inhibited, or lightning propagation be diverted or blocked to achieve this goal? Is it possible to induce lightning in one region within the storm system, in order to suppress lightning in the region in need of protection? What are the optimal strategies, and the necessary resources, to achieve this goal?

Global Warming is a Deception Con & Scam Says Top Australian Professor! (Does Al Gore Stand to Profit?)

This article about Ian Plimer (one of Australia's top academics) is dedicated to all my green environmentalist readers who are still in the dark about the scam that is anthropogenic global warming a/k/a/ man-made climate change to fatten former Vice President Al Gore's and Generation Investment Management's (GIM) fat pockets.

But most of these scientific and academic voices have fallen silent in the face of environmental Jacobinism. Purging humankind of its supposed sins of environmental degradation has become a religion with a fanatical and often intolerant priesthood, especially among the First World urban elites.

I agree 100%. Living in a large metropolitan area like Los Angeles, the green movement has become a religion onto itself. Unfortunately, the major corporations have hijacked the green movement and turned into another way to make profit.

Instead of people protesting GMO foods, the contamination of our waters with heavy metals and the chemtrail sky spraying, the green movement focuses on the wrong issues such as your carbon footprint or the polar bears drowning. Or they'll lobby Congress to pass laws replacing all light bulbs with energy efficient ones, that many times are filled with mercury.

The irony is seeing a person scold someone for throwing an aluminum can in the trash and in the next instance, that person is eating some GMO food while drinking an aspartame filled soda.

Plimer presents the proposition that anthropogenic global warming is little more than a con trick on the public perpetrated by fundamentalist environmentalists and callously adopted by politicians and government officials who love nothing more than an issue that causes public anxiety.

You bet it is. Al Gore stands to make money from GIM when the cap and trade system goes online. Even former Secretary of the Treasury Henry Paulson is rumored to have an interest in the GIM's founding though there is no mention of him on the official site.

While environmentalists for the most part draw their conclusions based on climate information gathered in the last few hundred years, geologists, Plimer says, have a time frame stretching back many thousands of millions of years.

Yes, the corporate green movement only looks at 20-30 years of data on a regular day and if they are really trying to be impressive, they might decide to go back a 100 years. A 100 years is a flash in a pan when taken in comparison with the age of this planet, no matter what theory of planetary creation you believe. Most of the data supporting man-made climate change is statistically insignificant when taken in context with the planet's age in years.

Polar ice, for example, has been present on the Earth for less than 20 per cent of geological time, Plimer writes. Plus, animal extinctions are an entirely normal part of the Earth's evolution...

Plimer gets especially upset about carbon dioxide, its role in Earth's daily life and the supposed effects on climate of human manufacture of the gas. He says atmospheric carbon dioxide is now at the lowest levels it has been for 500 million years, and that atmospheric carbon dioxide is only 0.001 per cent of the total amount of the chemical held in the oceans, surface rocks, soils and various life forms. Indeed, Plimer says carbon dioxide is not a pollutant, but a plant food. Plants eat carbon dioxide and excrete oxygen. Human activity, he says, contributes only the tiniest fraction to even the atmospheric presence of carbon dioxide.

This may be the most important point in the article. Carbon dioxide is not pollution. Plants need it to grow. Animals need plants for food and to create oxygen. If there is no carbon dioxide, then there is no oxygen. If there is no oxygen, then there is no more.

Chemtrails in Century City, California on June 2, 2009

I have posted several different blog entries about the "chemtrails" I see around the Los Angeles area. I first recall noticing chemtrails since around 2001-2002, and the 'trails have progressively gotten worse and worse. People say there are all types of aluminum and barium in the sprayings which can and will cause health issues. Our government has recently discussed the possibility that it might have to spray the sky. However, the government does not admit to spraying currently. Most people will say that the trails are merely contrails. Here are some pictures I just took the other day in Century City. You tell me whether these are merely contrails. The Tropospheric Aerosol Program Plan (The U.S. Government's How-to-Guide to Chemtrail the Sky?)

Here is a link to the Energy Department's official "chemtrail" program plan for public release. It will be interesting reading to see the technologies being presented. I have seen chemtrails for years, but I had never even heard of the troposphere until today.

The Department That Will Help Obama Control the Weather Through Chemtrails and the Tropospheric Aerosol Program

The Tropospheric Aerosol Program is the likely source of the "chemtrails" that we have been seeing in our skies since the mid-1990s. Once again, I have been trying to point it out to people for years only be told they are only contrails.
