Technology Assessment: Explosives Detection Technologies to Protect Passenger Rail (Classified & Redacted GAO Report)
Based on intelligence indicating that Al Qaeda and associated movements continue to express interest in attacking US mass transit systems, the Government Accountability Office (GAO) has issued a redacted version of a classified report on “explosives detection technologies [that] are available or in development that could help secure passenger rail systems.”

Technology Assessment: Explosives Detection Technologies to Protect Passenger Rail
GAO-10-898 July 28, 2010
Passenger rail systems are vital to the nation's transportation infrastructure, providing approximately 14 million passenger trips each weekday. Recent terrorist attacks on these systems around the world--such as in Moscow, Russia in 2010--highlight the vulnerability of these systems. The Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is the primary federal entity responsible for securing passenger rail systems. In response to the Legislative Branch Appropriations Act for fiscal year 2008, GAO conducted a technology assessment that reviews 1) the availability of explosives detection technologies and their ability to help secure the passenger rail environment, and 2) key operational and policy factors that impact the role of explosives detection technologies in the passenger rail environment. GAO analyzed test reports on various explosives detection technologies and convened a panel of experts comprised of a broad mix of federal, technology, and passenger rail industry officials. GAO also interviewed officials from DHS and the Departments of Defense, Energy, Transportation, and Justice to discuss the effectiveness of these technologies and their applicability to passenger rail. GAO provided a draft of this report these departments for comment. Four departments provided technical comments, which we incorporated as appropriate.

CIA Director Leon Panetta Says That It Has Not Had Any Reliable Intelligence on Osama bin Laden's Location Since Early 2000s
Mr Panetta said the al-Qaeda leadership was at its weakest point since the Sept 11, 2001 attacks, but admitted that he had not had reliable intelligence on the location of the group's leader since "the early 2000s".
"Since then, it's been very difficult to get any intelligence on his exact location," he said.

Council on Foreign Relations Says Al-Qaeda Lacks Ability to Cyberattack United States of America
While the United States' critical infrastructure, from the electric grid to the financial sector, is vulnerable to attack through cyberspace, al-Qaeda lacks the capability and motivation to exploit these vulnerabilities. To penetrate, map, and damage the networks that control the industrial base requires a large team of experienced hackers, a lot of time, and advanced infrastructure. Only a handful of groups, mostly nation state actors, possess this level of capability, and al-Qaeda is not one of them.
If anyone is going to be hitting us with a cyberattack, it will probably be conducted by agents with connections to China, Russia, Israel, North Korea or the corporate sector.

Pentagon Calls for Creation of 'Office of Strategic Deception'
You can check out the original Raw Story article by clicking the link. The article is based on a report released by the Pentagon calling for an Office of Strategic Deception. You mean the Pentagon doesn't already have one of these offices? Doesn't Intelcenter.com (which releases the Al-Qaeda and bin Laden videos) already have relations with Donald Rumsfeld and the Pentagon?
Remember the Pentagon Office of Special Plans that helped collect dubious intelligence that led to the war in Iraq? Or the program where the Pentagon secretly briefed military analysts to promote the Iraq war?
Meet the would-be Office of Strategic Deception.
In a little-noticed report earlier this month, the Defense Department's powerful Defense Science Board recommended creation of an entity designed solely for "strategic deception" against US adversaries.

FLASHBACK: Fox News Reports in 2001 That Osama bin Laden is Already Dead!
Please note that this article is from 2001 is from the Fox News network. Why has this article not been pulled from the Internet if it is inaccurate? I do not recall anyone disputing this article when it came out. In fact, I have continually heard from the government that Osama bin Laden was still alive and running wild through Tora Bora.
I live thousands of miles away, so any information I have is strictly hearsay and referenced from the publicly available information sources! Nevertheless, Fox News reported in 2001 that Osama bin Laden is already dead! This story contradicts America's current position that Osama bin Laden is still alive and managing the Al-Qaeda database network.
The article lists bin Laden's name as "Usama" instead of the usual spelling of "Osama." I do not know if that fact should subject this story to greater scrutiny or if it is a standard alternate spelling of the name.
December 26, 2001
Usama bin Laden has died a peaceful death due to an untreated lung complication, the Pakistan Observer reported, citing a Taliban leader who allegedly attended the funeral of the Al Qaeda leader.
"The Coalition troops are engaged in a mad search operation but they would never be able to fulfill their cherished goal of getting Usama alive or dead," the source said.
Bin Laden, according to the source, was suffering from a serious lung complication and succumbed to the disease in mid-December, in the vicinity of the Tora Bora mountains. The source claimed that bin Laden was laid to rest honorably in his last abode and his grave was made as per his Wahabi belief.
About 30 close associates of bin Laden in Al Qaeda, including his most trusted and personal bodyguards, his family members and some "Taliban friends," attended the funeral rites. A volley of bullets was also fired to pay final tribute to the "great leader."
The Taliban source who claims to have seen bin Laden's face before burial said "he looked pale ... but calm, relaxed and confident."
Asked whether bin Laden had any feelings of remorse before death, the source vehemently said "no." Instead, he said, bin Laden was proud that he succeeded in his mission of igniting awareness amongst Muslims about hegemonistic designs and conspiracies of "pagans" against Islam. Bin Laden, he said, held the view that the sacrifice of a few hundred people in Afghanistan was nothing, as those who laid their lives in creating an atmosphere of resistance will be adequately rewarded by Almighty Allah.
When asked where bin Laden was buried, the source said, "I am sure that like other places in Tora Bora, that particular place too must have vanished."

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Women Wing Condemns U.S. Drone Wars in Tribal Areas
PESHAWAR: Women Wing of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Monday staged a peace rally to condemn the US drone attacks in the tribal areas and killing of innocent tribesmen in the strikes.
Led by PML-N MPA Shazia Aurangzeb, the women activists carried banners and placards inscribed with slogans for peace. The participants of the peace rally urged the government to review its domestic and foreign policies and stop “following in the footsteps of Musharraf.”
Majority of the participants were carrying white flowers and released pigeons on the Malik Saad Shaheed Flyover, near historic Balahisar Fort. The organisers said they had selected the Malik Saad Flyover to pay homage to the martyrs who lost their lives in terrorist activities and bomb blasts.

FLASHBACK: Taliban Shut Down Most Afghan Poppy (Opium) Production in 2001!
You must note that this story is from February 16, 2001 in the Eugene-Register Guardian. Prior to 9/11, the United Nations reported that the Taliban had essentially wiped out the Afghan poppy crops.U.N. drug control officers said the Taliban religious militia has nearly wiped out opium production in Afghanistan -- once the world's largest producer -- since banning poppy cultivation last summer.
A 12-member team from the U.N. Drug Control Program spent two weeks searching most of the nation's largest opium-producing areas and found so few poppies that they do not expect any opium to come out of Afghanistan this year.
"We are not just guessing. We have seen the proof in the fields," said Bernard Frahi, regional director for the U.N. program in Afghanistan and Pakistan. He laid out photographs of vast tracts of land cultivated with wheat alongside pictures of the same fields taken a year earlier -- a sea of blood-red poppies.
A mere seven (7) months later, 9/11 occurred and the United States was at war with the Taliban over its harboring of Osama bin Laden placing thousands of our troops on the ground. Despite the Taliban's offer to turn over bin Laden if the United States provided proof, the offer was refused.
Five years later in September, 2006, there were approximately 20,000 U.S. troops on the ground in Afghanistan, and yet the opium harvest was at a record level!
Afghanistan’s opium harvest this year has reached the highest levels ever recorded, showing an increase of almost 50 percent from last year, the executive director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, Antonio Maria Costa, said Saturday in Kabul.
He described the figures as “alarming” and “very bad news” for the Afghan government and international donors who have poured millions of dollars into programs to reduce the poppy crop since 2001.

Zbigniew Brzezinski Speaks About U.S. Policy in Afghanistan and Counterinsurgency Strategy at RAND Forum
Zbigniew Brzezinski spoke about U.S. policy in Afghanistan and counterinsurgency strategy. In his remarks he stressed the need to facilitate a political environment that respected traditional decentralization of power, while building a strong national political structure. He also talked about military troop levels and the U.S. mission in Afghanistan.
If you are looking for further analysis of this video, check out David Swanson's article called Brzezinski Says Ignore US Public on Afghanistan.
These are paraphrases. For exact wording get the video. Here are my notes on Brzezinski's remarks:
1. "Withdrawal from Afghanistan in the near future is a No-No." He gives no reason, just takes it for granted everyone agrees. Says #2 will be more controversial.
2. Don't repeat what Soviet Union did. Don't Americanize the American occupation of Afghanistan.
3. Make sure NATO and anybody else willing is there with the Americans, esply Islamic troops.
The Three Fundamental Noes.
To Do:
1. Deny safe haven to al Qaeda. That is THE objective. Don't build a nation.
2. Be sensitive to ethnic diversity while we're building a nation.
3. Do what USSR did in crushing democratic movements in places like Poland. Hire natives to fight.
4. We may have to put in more troops. Control cities and roads. Undertake counterinsurgency.
5. Pursue accomodations with Taleban and Talebanlike formations.
6. Keep economic assistance flowing rather than abandoning Afghanistan as we did after the counterinsurgency against the USSR. Seduce the population.
7. Involve the Europeans in funding elimination of narcotic crops.
8. Be more respectful of Pakistani strategic interests in Afghanistan.
9. Engage China and Iran with their interests in Afghanistan.
10. Build a North-South pipeline to the Indian Ocean.
11. Rename it The Vietghanipipelinistan Quagmire of Freedom.
OK I made up #11.

Palo Verde Nuclear Engineer With High Security Clearance is Missing! (Possible Connection to Recent Taliban Threats to Arizona & Nevada?)
***
Cornelius Hardy, who often goes by Neil, was last seen Saturday evening at his home near 67th Avenue and Deer Valley Road in Glendale. Friends and family have gathered at that home this morning. Annette Hardy said she came home at about 8:30 p.m. to find her husband gone.
Let's hope that his high security clearance is not the reason he is missing or this is some crazy pretext for a possible false flag.
Hardy has high security clearance at the Palo Verde Nuclear Power Plant, where he works. His family said all of his security clearance badges are at his home.
There have been recent unconfirmed reports of the Taliban making threats to U.S. military interests in Arizona and Nevada, so I wonder if there is a connection with this nuclear engineer with high security clearance coming up missing around the same time the "terrorists" are making threats in the region.
The U.S. Air Force fears that the Taliban may attempt a terror attack against the U.S. bases (in Nevada and Arizona), where the operators control (via satellite link) Predator and Reaper UAVs flying over Pakistan. These UAVs have killed dozens of Taliban and al Qaeda leaders in the past year.
Was Mr. Hardy ever in the military or special forces? How did Mr. Hardy gain his top security clearance?

Osama Bin Laden Releases Another Tape to Americans (Is This Another Posthumous Psych-Op?)
The tape appeared on As-Sahab, the Arabic-language Web site used by Al Qaeda to deliver its messages. The recording was reported and translated by the SITE Intelligence Group and IntelCenter, two groups in the United States that monitor jihadist Web sites.
SITE said the message, which was released on Sept. 13 and lasted 11 minutes, 20 seconds, offered reasons for Al Qaeda’s attacks in New York and Washington on Sept. 11, 2001, and advised how the conflict between Al Qaeda and the United States might come to a close.

Is the Globalist N.W.O. Setting Up Boston for a False Flag Terrorist Attack?
Why, you may ask? It mainly relates to the various connections between Boston, PTech, 9/11, Special Agent Warren Bamford and Mayor Tom Menino.
1. PTech was based in Boston. PTech was founded by persons with connections to Al-Qaeda, and the company's software gave it back doors to override government computers and systems. These back doors could have been used to make NORAD and the FAA stand down on 9/11 as has been alleged by Indira Singh and Michael Ruppert in "Crossing the Rubicon."
2. There was a big arrest of PTech executives by the F.B.I. in July, 2009 that received NO COVERAGE from the mainstream media aside from The Boston Herald. It was the first real mention of PTech since around 2002 and one of the first biggest arrests to date of a real 9/11 terrorist. The current article is archived by The Boston Herald, but here is the FBI press release relating to this arrest.
3. Now, Warren Bamford, the F.B.I. agent in charge of the recent PTech arrest, is saying that Boston police need to be armed with semi-automatic assault rifles to protect against a possible terrorist attack similar to the recent Mumbai terrorist attacks. However, Mayor Tom Menino is against the proposal.
Why would Special Agent Bamford issue such a warning? Does he know something that we do not know? Could he be trying to warn Boston about a possible false flag terrorist attack similar to how FBI agents tried to warn people prior to 9/11?
I will update this story as I get more verifiable information!

USA is Reportedly Funding the Taliban in Afghanistan!
The new feeling is that less than half of the Taliban’s war chest comes from poppy, with a variety of sources, including private contributions from Persian Gulf states, accounting for much of the rest. Holbrooke told reporters that he would add a member of the Treasury Department to his staff to pursue the question of Taliban funding.
But perhaps U.S. officials need look no further than their own backyard.
Anecdotal evidence is mounting that the Taliban are taking a hefty portion of assistance money coming into Afghanistan from the outside.
This goes beyond mere protection money or extortion of “taxes” at the local level — very high-level negotiations take place between the Taliban and major contractors, according to sources close to the process.

Osama Bin Laden Worked for United States Government Until September 11, 2001!
Former FBI translator Sibel Edmonds dropped a bombshell on the Mike Malloy radio show, guest-hosted by Brad Friedman (audio, partial transcript).
In the interview, Sibel says that the US maintained 'intimate relations' with Bin Laden, and the Taliban, "all the way until that day of September 11."

U.S. Drone Wars 2009: Lethal Predator-Attacks Kill 365 (As of July 18)
However, if you live in Pakistan, then you know that the future is here as it relates to our military's automated technology as discussed in a recent detailed observation of U.S. Predator strikes in Pakistan by The Long War Journal, including the fact that 365 people have been killed so far this year.
The dramatically increased use of covert US air power to target al Qaeda and Taliban assets in Pakistan's lawless tribal zones has sparked a controversy in the US and abroad. Critics of the airstrikes, which are carried out by unmanned Predator attack aircraft, contend that the actions violate Pakistan's sovereignty, kill innocent civilians, and make enemies of Pakistani tribesmen. Proponents of the airstrikes say that they are necessary to prevent the next major attack against the West and to disrupt al Qaeda and the Taliban's operations directed against Coalition forces in Afghanistan.
Whatever the case may be, the directive to ramp up the air campaign against al Qaeda and the Taliban in Pakistan's tribal areas has been issued, first by President George Bush in the summer of 2008, and continued by President Barack Obama only days after his inauguration...
...The lethality of Predator strikes inside the tribal agencies has also increased during 2009. Using low-end estimates of casualties (including Taliban, al Qaeda, and civilian) from US strikes inside Pakistan, we have determined that airstrikes resulted in 317 deaths during 2008. Already, the airstrikes in 2009 have surpassed that total, with 365 killed in 2009 as of July 18.
Although the drones have brought the military many international successes and intelligence in its pursuits of Taliban and Al-Qaeda members, how long will it be before we see these Predator drones operating within the borders of the United States?

PTech: Officer of False Flag Corporation Instrumental in 9/11 Attacks Arrested at JFK Airport by U.S. Federal Authorities!
On 9/11/2001, PTech, Inc. was running all the military wargames being conducted that day and PTech would have had the ability to override any U.S. air defense computer system in operation, including air civilian defense protocols.
I remember reading significant information about PTech, Inc. in Mike Ruppert's "Crossing the Rubicon," but it has only been with the help of the Prison Planet forum members that I am truly understanding PTech's overall role. It is also alleged that PTech had Al-Qaeda and C.I.A. connections as evidenced by it being raided after 9/11. Now two (2) of its key officers have been arrested by the Federal Authorities! Is this the beginning of PTech being exposed for all to see?
Federal authorities have accused two former executives of a Massachusetts software company of concealing financial ties to a man on the government’s terrorism list.
The Quincy [Massachusetts] office of PTech, Inc., was raided by federal agents in the aftermath of the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks.
Indictments were unsealed Wednesday against PTech’s former chief executive, Oussama Ziade, and former chief financial officer Buford George Peterson. They are accused of trying to conceal in a loan application an approximately $10 million financial interest in the company held by Yassin Kadi (KAH’-dee). Kadi is a Saudi Arabian on the Treasury Department’s list of Specially Designated Global Terrorists.

FLASHBACK! Indira Singh / PTech / DARPA / 9-11 Whistleblower Video
Singh was doing high level IT work for JP Morgan Chase...as well as a company related to the CIA and DARPA at the time of 9/11. She was contracted to develop A.I. risk managing programs that would thwart fraud in the banking systems. She discovered a company called Ptech(Piedmont Technologies, in Boston) which was started and funded by Yasin al-Qadi, now officially pegged as one of the main money men behind al Qaeda by the US government. The severity comes when it was discovered that Ptech developed system called PROMIS, which was installed in a lot of government agency computers as of 9/11. Cheifly [sp], was the FAA. The focal architecture and function of PROMIS is overring, risk processing, and advanced computing. In other words, PTECH, an al Qaeda front, had a total backdoor into the FAA data systems...even on 9/11.
