FEMA Prepares for National Terrorist Exercise Game to Scare People and Test Preparedness (NLE 09)

In the past, bad events have happened in connection with war games, simulated exercises and drills. There were at least two such exercises being conducted on 9/11 and these exercises resulted in our defenses being compromised. Similarly with the 7/7 bombers in London, there was a drill being conducted that was quite similar to the "actual" events which occurred. FEMA has an upcoming exercise July 27 through July 31, 2009 that will be conducted on a worldwide scale. I cannot see a good reason for this type of exercise, because it is very likely that it could be transformed from an exercise to a real event with nothing but a simple command.

National Level Exercise 2009 (NLE 09)

National Level Exercise 2009 (NLE 09) is scheduled for July 27 through July 31, 2009. NLE 09 will be the first major exercise conducted by the United States government that will focus exclusively on terrorism prevention and protection, as opposed to incident response and recovery.

NLE 09 is designated as a Tier I National Level Exercise. Tier I exercises (formerly known as the Top Officials exercise series or TOPOFF) are conducted annually in accordance with the National Exercise Program (NEP), which serves as the nation's overarching exercise program for planning, organizing, conducting and evaluating national level exercises. The NEP was established to provide the U.S. government, at all levels, exercise opportunities to prepare for catastrophic crises ranging from terrorism to natural disasters.

NLE 09 is a White House directed, Congressionally- mandated exercise that includes the participation of all appropriate federal department and agency senior officials, their deputies, staff and key operational elements. In addition, broad regional participation of state, tribal, local, and private sector is anticipated. This year the United States welcomes the participation of Australia, Canada, Mexico and the United Kingdom in NLE 09.

EXERCISE FOCUS

NLE 09 will focus on intelligence and information sharing among intelligence and law enforcement communities, and between international, federal, regional, state, tribal, local and private sector participants.

The NLE 09 scenario will begin in the aftermath of a notional (sp) terrorist event outside of the United States, and exercise play will center on preventing subsequent efforts by the terrorists to enter the United States and carry out additional attacks. This scenario enables participating senior officials to focus on issues related to preventing terrorist events domestically and protecting U.S. critical infrastructure.

NLE 09 will allow terrorism prevention efforts to proceed to a logical end (successful or not), with no requirement for response or recovery activities.

NLE 09 will be an operations-based exercise to include: activities taking place at command posts, emergency operation centers, intelligence centers and potential field locations to include federal headquarters facilities in the Washington D.C. area, and in federal, regional, state, tribal, local and private sector facilities in FEMA Region VI, which includes the states of Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.

EXERCISE OBJECTIVES

Through a comprehensive evaluation process, the exercise will assess prevention and protection capabilities both nationally and regionally. Although NLE 09 is still in the planning stages, the exercise is currently designed to validate the following capabilities:

Intelligence/Information Sharing and Dissemination
Counter-Terrorism Investigation and Law Enforcement
Air, Border and Maritime Security
Critical Infrastructure Protection
Public and Private Sector Alert/Notification and Security Advisories
International Coordination
VALIDATING THE HOMELAND SECURITY SYSTEM

Exercises such as NLE 09 are an important component of national preparedness, helping to build an integrated federal, state, tribal, local and private sector capability to prevent terrorist attacks, and rapidly and effectively respond to, and recover from, any terrorist attack or major disaster that occurs.

The full-scale exercise offers agencies and jurisdictions a way to test their plans and skills in a real-time, realistic environment and to gain the in-depth knowledge that only experience can provide. Participants will exercise prevention and information sharing functions that are critical to preventing terrorist attacks. Lessons learned from the exercise will provide valuable insights to guide future planning for securing the nation against terrorist attacks, disasters, and other emergencies.

Israel stands ready to bomb Iran's nuclear sites (World War 3?)

I certainly hope that another war doesn't break out, because this one will be nasty. Israel vs. Iran will draw the rest of the world into its crosshairs.

The State of Montana Says Yes to 2nd Amendment and No to Federal Gun Regulation (Montana Firearms Freedom Act Passes!)

Thank you Montana! The Montana Firearms Freedom Act passed and has been signed by the Governor. We need more States to pass this legislation. Every State legislator should introduce similar laws in their respective States. This is destined for a Supreme Court challenge, so we need more States in the fight. Guns and firearms made in Montana will be exempt from federal regulation and control. It will increase gun manufacturing in Montana, but it may be difficult to stop people from transporting guns across State lines.

Gov. Brian Schweitzer has signed into law a bill that aims to exempt Montana-made guns from federal regulation.

House Bill 246 was sponsored by Republican Rep. Joel Boniek of Livingston. It applies only to guns made and kept in Montana. Its supporters hope it triggers a court case to test the legal basis for federal rules governing gun sales.

International Monetary Fund (IMF) Tells the World That No One is Escaping!

In case you don't know about the IMF, it is an international organization that oversees the global financial system. IMF will typically bankrupt a third world economy and has been rightfully criticized for its policies. The IMF has already destroyed the economy in Argentina! The IMF is predicting that no one will be able to escape the current financial collapse. There are no countries where you can go (what about Monster Island?). If the IMF is accurate, you will be paying for the bankers' debts for a long time.

THE International Monetary Fund has forecast a prolonged, deep global recession in a crisis "nobody is escaping," with recovery slow and difficult. Weak capital flows to emerging economies in the downturn will hammer Eastern Europe in particular, the IMF said in releasing two chapters from its twice-yearly World Economic Outlook (WEO).

Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa Wants Your Guns (Gun buy-back program launched citywide in Los Angeles)

There have been a lot of these gun buy-back programs in the surrounding Los Angeles areas lately. Now there is a citywide gun buy-back program. In this case, you'll get a $100-200 gift cards to buy cheap disposable merchandise.

Has anyone ever done a study to see if these programs produce positive results? I do not believe it will help reduce crime, and crime will likely increase once the people are disarmed.

Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa on Thursday kicked off a gun buy-back program urging Angelenos to turn in their guns to police departments in exchange for gift cards.

Angelenos who turn in their guns -- regardless of whether the firearm has been used in a crime -- will receive a gift certificate, Villaraigosa said.

President Obama to Control the Weather (Climate Engineering & Chemtrails)

People have completely denied the chemtrails that are regularly sprayed in our skies. I have previously posted photographs I took in Santa Monica demonstrating the chemtrail spraying (SANTA MONICA CHEMTRAILS). Doubters always say that the trails are nothing but simple contrails and that I am imagining things. Hmmmm, I guess this is the year that everything imaginary is proven to be real. First, it was the New World Order last week, and now it is the chemtrails. The article talks as if the program has not yet begun, but the government loves to approve things that it is already doing.

The president's new science adviser said Wednesday that global warming is so dire, the Obama administration is discussing radical technologies to cool Earth's air. John Holdren told The Associated Press in his first interview since being confirmed last month that the idea of geoengineering the climate is being discussed.

One such extreme option includes shooting pollution particles into the upper atmosphere to reflect the sun's rays. Holdren said such an experimental measure would only be used as a last resort.

President Obama's National Security Advisor James L. Jones Takes His Daily Orders from Republican Henry Kissinger!!

What the @#$%!

U.S. National Security Advisor James L. Jones admitted at the 45th Munich Conference on Security Policy at the Hotel Bayerischer Hof on February 8, 2009, that he gets his daily orders from Henry Kissinger who was President Richard Nixon's Secretary of State in the 1970s.

"Thank you for that wonderful tribute to Henry Kissinger yesterday. Congratulations. As the most recent National Security Advisor of the United States, I take my daily orders from Dr. Kissinger, filtered down through Generaal Brent Scowcroft and Sandy Berger, who is also here. We have a chain of command in the National Security Council that exists today.

Now I am confused, who is giving the orders in the West Wing? President Obama? 163-year old Henry Kissinger? The National Security Council? Bat-Man?

It can understand someone like Kissinger providing occasional advice, but for him to be giving daily orders down through his elaborate chain-of-command is quite scary!

FYI, Kissinger has been accused of war crimes against humanity in numerous nations around the globe.

Iverson Should Play Overseas in the Euroleague if NBA Teams Don't Want to Start Him in 2009-10

Allen Iverson has always been one of my all-time favorite players. A living NBA legend! A man who single handedly brought the mid-90s hip-hop mentality to the league. However, with an expiring contract and only continued reserve roles on the horizon, is the only place where Iverson can start and prosper in Europe?

Losing Iverson to the Euroleague would be a shame and a treat too. Like when Dominique Wilkins won the Euroleague for Panathinaikos in 1996. I was happy for 'Nique, but I will always wonder "what if" the Hawks didn't trade him to the Clippers in 1994.

Is Iverson willing to be a reserve next year?

“I’d rather retire before I do this again,” Iverson said. “I can’t be effective playing this way. I’m not used to it. It’s tough for me both mentally and physically. If I’m able to go out there, I should be able to get it done and I can’t right now. It’s my fault. I have to be able to overcome the adversity and do what I have to do. I just have to find a way to get it done. Not being 100 percent makes it harder and you can see that I’m not 100 percent.”

I think Iverson would thrive in the Euroleague and his popularity would bring more worldwide fans to the Euroleague. I can even imagine NBA-TV or Fox picking up some of the games. Bringing a Euroleague championship to a team would cement Iverson as an even bigger worldwide icon. If he signs a 3-year deal with a Euro team (with 1-year opt-outs), he can cap it all off with a swan song 2012 Olympics in London.

The NBA would miss Iverson if he played in Europe, and it would also likely mean he will never raise the NBA trophy like Isiah and Tiny - his peers as best 6'1" and under players. No matter that Iverson hasn't won a ring, I'll never forget the 48 points he dropped on the Lakers in the Finals that put him only three (3) wins away from one.

While Euroleague fans would love to see him cross the pond, Iverson will likely stand by his word and retire if a starting NBA position is not available. If he doesn't want to go to Europe, then I agree, because Iverson should not be jumping from team to team getting 15-20 minutes a night with the second unit on a sub-.500 team. That's not Allen Iverson.

The bankers have to do all of this in order to save us from ourselves, because a few unqualified people got subprime mortgages that have destroyed the world economy. Everything will be alright. Just give it time and the bankers more and more money!

Hogwash! If you have that faith in these evil bankers and the government, then I know you are happy with the fact you (and your kids and grandkids) now each owe over $42,000 in connection with the $12.8 trillion bailout and stimulus (BLOOMBERG SAYS $12.8 TRILLION), and worldwide we each owe $190,000 in connection with the $1.5 quadrillion derivatives bubble ($1.5 QUADRILLION IN DERIVATIVES). It's only going to get worst! Another $1.2 trillion deficit in our budget for the upcoming year (U.S. BUDGET $1.2 TRILLION DEFICIT). Enjoy the chaos!

All these bankers need to be indicted and arrested immediately for grand theft instead of being given more money and power! American Company Sends Bird Flu Virus to European Lab in Vaccine!!! What the @#$%

This story is beyond belief!!! How in the world does someone accidentally put a bird flu virus in a vaccine? Bird Flu is one of the deadliest viruses on earth. Anyone with access to it would require the proper documented authorizations. Therefore, there should be a record of the persons responsible for this "accident."

Radio host Alex Jones dedicated a significant portion of his show last week when he first covered the story. How can companies be allowed to make such ridiculous and potential devastating "mistakes?" If the average person "accidentally" sent bird flu through the mail, he would either be killed or be spending the rest of his days in solitary confinement. There is absolutely no way a mistake like this should EVER happen.

Baxter International Inc. in Austria unintentionally contaminated samples with the bird flu virus that were used in laboratories in three neighboring countries, raising concern about the potential spread of the deadly disease.

The contamination was discovered when ferrets at a laboratory in the Czech Republic died after being inoculated with vaccine made from the samples early this month. The material came from Deerfield, Illinois-based Baxter, which reported the incident to the Austrian Ministry of Health, Sigrid Rosenberger, a ministry spokeswoman, said today in a telephone interview.

“This was infected with a bird flu virus,” Rosenberger said. “There were some people from the company who handled it.”

Proposed Legislation Authorizes FEMA Camps in the United States of America!

Here's some more "evidence" of the things I have discussed over the years on this blog and in my campaign. There is now legislation being proposed in Congress to authorize FEMA camps for American citizens in cases of national emergencies. Section 2(b)(4) says that these centers can be used for "appropriate needs" as determined by the Secretary of Homeland Security. However, "appropriate needs" is not defined in the legislation nor is the Secretary's determination limited by anything in the bill.

The National Emergency Centers Act or HR 645 mandates the establishment of “national emergency centers” to be located on military installations for the purpose of to providing “temporary housing, medical, and humanitarian assistance to individuals and families dislocated due to an emergency or major disaster,” according to the bill.

The legislation also states that the camps will be used to “provide centralized locations to improve the coordination of preparedness, response, and recovery efforts of government, private, and not-for-profit entities and faith-based organizations”.

Ominously, the bill also states that the camps can be used to “meet other appropriate needs, as determined by the Secretary of Homeland Security,” an open ended mandate which many fear could mean the forced detention of American citizens in the event of widespread rioting after a national emergency or total economic collapse.

Skateboarding in Afghanistan (Skateistan)!

This article speaks for itself, but basically a visionary is helping to bring skateboarding to the youth of Afghanistan. I would imagine that many Afghan kids have never seen a skateboard, so it must be quite an experience for them when they first see one. Good stuff!

But Percovich has raised the money needed to build an 800-square-meter, or 8,600-square-foot, bubble to house the nonprofit Skateistan complex, and the Kabul Parks Authority has tentatively donated land. He is still waiting for official permission to begin the project. Since a spate of kidnappings and the car bombing in November, he has reduced his daily sessions at the fountain to once or twice a week.

Obama's Climate Czar Believes That Global Governance is the Solution...

If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, then it is probably a duck. If it looks like a socialist, walks like a socialist and sounds like a socialist, then it is probably a socialist.

Until last week, Carol M. Browner, President-elect Barack Obama's pick as global warming czar, was listed as one of 14 leaders of a socialist group's Commission for a Sustainable World Society, which calls for "global governance" and says rich countries must shrink their economies to address climate change.

Congress Out of Control (The End of Hand-Me-Down Toys and Clothes?)

I guess Congress is determined to shut down the independent toy and clothes retailer. Perhaps if we made more items here in the USA instead of offshoring them to distant lands that have no regulations, we would not have these problems.

A new government regulation scheduled to take effect next month has thousands of retailers, thrift stores and small businesses worried they will be forced to permanently close their doors – and destroy their merchandise.

The law is expected to have such a devastating impact that Feb. 10 is now unofficially known as "National Bankruptcy Day."

Congress passed the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008, or HR 4040, a retroactive rule mandating that all items sold for use by children under 12 must be tested by an independent party for lead and phthalates, which are chemicals used to make plastics more pliable.

Henry Kissinger Calls For a New World Order on Mainstream Media (CNBC)

The conspiracy theorists have said that the masks will have to come off of the New World Order before its plans can come to fruition. I am starting to see a lot of unmaskings in the last few months. The latest one comes from Henry Kissinger (former Secretary of State) who called for a new world order on live TV. This is getting quite interesting!

Russia Cuts Off Gas Supplies to Europe...

Hopefully, the global warming myth will be true -- at least for a few more weeks. Otherwise, it may be a cold winter for the Euros, because Russia has halted ALL supplies of gas to Europe.

The European Commission condemned the cuts as "completely unacceptable". In an unusually strongly worded statement, it demanded that Russia restore supplies "immediately".

Russia ordered a reduction in gas flow to Europe via Ukraine on Monday, a measure it said was to stop its neighbour from stealing fuel. Ukraine said the move would jeopardise supplies to the rest of Europe, which is facing freezing temperatures.

The End of the Trans-Texas Corridor

Property owners in Texas will be happy to hear the following story about the end of the Trans-Texas Corridor.

In response to public outcry, the ambitious proposal to create the Trans-Texas Corridor network has been dropped and will be replaced with a plan to carry out road projects at an incremental, modest pace, a state transportation official announced today.

"The Trans-Texas Corridor, as it is known, no longer exists," said Amadeo Saenz Jr., executive director of the Texas Department of Transportation, at the agency's annual forum in Austin.

Now the people just have to make sure that this project is not restarted under a new name.
